Rhythmical Einreibung is a nursing treatment that gently enlivens, warms and nurtures the whole human being through the conscious application of qualities of touch and therapeutic oils.

Part 2 of the course will be offered in October 2019.

Part 1: Course for Nurses, Massage Therapists, Health Care Professionals, Parents and Caregivers
Students will be introduced to the theory of rhythmical and life processes through instruction and practice, and will learn:
    - The qualities of rhythmical touch and how to provide them
    - The meaning of the warmth organism and its importance in therapy
    - Application of the rhythmical qualities in other nursing situations
    - Indications and contraindications of Rhythmical Einreibung
    - Rhythmical Einreibung of the sitting back, legs and feet

The learning process is experiential and imaginative, imparting a living knowledge of Rhythmical Einreibung that participants can integrate into their health care practices and life situations.

A mentoring process is available to those who wish to continue with this training.

The course will be taught by Anke Smeele RN, ANS, RET, who is also a Specialist in Anthroposophic Nursing and Rhythmical Einreibungen. She studied under Edelgard Grosse-Brauchman. Anke is currently a Board Member for the Anthroposophic Nursing Association (NAANA), and a teacher of the Foundation Course and Specialist Training for Anthroposophic Nurses at the IPMT.

REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO TWELVE PARTICIPANTS

Pregnancy and some medical conditions are contraindications for receiving Rhythmical Einreibung in a practice setting; please notify the course coordinators if you are pregnant or have a medical condition.
