Zoom Talk:
The First Nursing Course
Speaker: Rolf Heine
Having given some indications about nursing dating back to World War I, in the so-called Samaritan course, Rudolf Steiner planned to offer a dedicated course for nurses in May 1925. After his death in March 1925, Ita Wegman, his close colleague, proceeded with this conference, along with other medical colleagues, having already discussed much of the content with Steiner. Now that there is a resurgence in attempting to understand the role of nursing within Anthroposophic medicine, not just practically but socially and esoterically, research and engagement around this course are vital.
A recording of the presentation will be available until October 30.
